AMERICAN PIE star NATASHA LYONNE is reportedly fighting for her life in a New York City hospital, after being found with hepatitis C, a heart infection and a collapsed lung. New York Post reports that the actress was found to have track marks, and is undergoing methadone treatment, typically used to help heroin users. Her father AARON BRAUNSTEIN, who visited the 26-year-old actress a week ago, speaks through his publicist: “I read the article. I'm crying, actually. It's terrible. That's my little girl”, and continues that she picked up Hepatitis C in Bulgaria while shooting her 2001 movie THE GREY ZONE. Braunstein is certain the New York Post will face legal action for exposing details of Lyonne's condition, violating the confidentiality between patient, doctor and hospital.

Four years after the release of multi-platinum seller A Funk Odyssey, space cowboys Jamiroquai have returned armed with Dynamite, their highly anticipated sixth studio album. Two days after deep-sixing his European tour citing "exhaustion," Eminem has confirmed through his publicist that he is in drug rehabilitation. The Grammy-winning rapper "is in the hospital under doctors' care," Interscope Records spokesman Dennis Dennehy said in a brief statement Thursday. "He is being treated for dependency on sleep medication." No further details were released. However, Star magazine reported that the rapper, accompanined by two bodyguards, had checked in to a facility in his native Michigan on Tuesday.

Gwen Stefani is reportedly set to snub the MTV Video Music Awards - because she wasn't allowed to perform; Despite being nominated for a string of trophies. MTV bosses are still hoping Gwen will turn up to collect any awards she might win. A spokesperson told America's New York Daily News newspaper: "We love Gwen and we hope she will be able to join us, as we know her fans would love to see her on this big night - especially since she's heavily nominated." .. Poppy Montgomery: The star of Without a Trace will take a break from searching for lost people long enough to help her network employers at CBS broadcast the Fashion Rocks entertainment special on Friday, September 9. Montgomery and singer Mark McGrath will host the fun concert that will feature David Bowie, Destiny's Child, Duran Duran, Billy Idol, Alicia Keys, Tim McGraw, Nelly, Shakira, Gwen Stefani, Joss Stone, The Arcade Fire and Rob Thomas in performance mode.

A former personal assistant to Carlos Santana has filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against the veteran rocker, claiming he was fired after his consciousness was calibrated and determined to be too low. Bruce Kuhlman, 59, charges that Santana's wife, Deborah, brought in a man known as "Dr. Dan" so employees could grow closer to God and become better workers. "In Deborah's view, the higher a person calibrated with Dr. Dan, the better employee they were because they were more `spiritually evolved,'" the lawsuit said.

Velvet Revolver guitarist and former Guns N’ Roses star Slash has been sued by his former publicist, Arlett Vereecke, who claims tens of thousands of dollars.
Vereecke told US TV show Celebrity Justice that Slash (Saul Hudson on his real name) landed numerous jobs while she worked with him. The famous guitarist co-hosted the show Jimmy Kimmel Live for a week and had a part in the cartoon Kid Notorious, as well. Arlett Vereecke started to work exclusively for Slash after she has been dismissed from her job as a representative for Velvet Revolver for a feud with lead singer Scott Weiland.

I ended up hiding in a box." Meanwhile, the star has slammed Hollywood stars for being obsessed with their weight. She revealed to Britain's Independent AB Review: "There are so many young girls who are bulimic or anorexic because of all this nonsense about weight. It's ridiculous. "To me, the only thing that makes someone attractive is if they're a good person."

This weekend a statue of the late guitar legend Phil Lynott of THIN LIZZY will be officially unveiled in Dublin, Ireland. The unveiling of the life size-bronze statue will take place in the late evening on Friday, August 19. On Saturday, August 20, a concert is scheduled.
