Ringo Starr: Beatles fans who have been waiting decades for some form of the group to appear again in concert will have to go to their graves unsatisfied. Starr, the popular Fab Four drummer, told Access Hollywood's Tim Vincent, " I haven't toured with Paul since 1965. We're never going to do it. We are not going to tour together. I go with my band, he goes with his. " Since Paul McCartney and Starr are the only players still alive, it seems that the last chapter in The Beatles story was written long ago.

Jennifer Love Hewitt: The former Party of Five star has a potential new hit in the CBS drama Ghost Whisperer , which will debut on the network in the Fall on Friday nights in the 8-9pm time slot. Critics who compare it to NBC's Medium have not seen the pilot episode. I have. It was spiritual in nature and reminded me of Michael Landon's wonderful Highway to Heaven . Hewitt stars as a woman who helps the dead settle unresolved issues so that they can move on to their next destination. One moving act dealt with a soldier who needed to see his son who was born while he was in battle. Mary Ann Winkowski , the ghost helper who inspired the series, told a reporter that she often is hired to attend funerals and that she always sees male and female spirits in attendance. It sounds to this writer like she will never be out of work. People die. That's a fact of life. Considering that fact, Hewitt's series could run forever.

Bering Strait:

Each time I see this band perform, I truly feel that the band members form the tightest group of musicians on the planet. Anybody who saw them profiled on 60 Minutes knows what I mean. The six classically trained Russian performers have the ability to deliver pitch-perfect versions of songs from all music genres. Don't take my word for it. Rent a copy of The Ballad of Bering Strait, a 90-minute Emmy-nominated documentary film about the band, and you will become a true believer. The group will release their sophomore CD titled "Pages" on Tuesday, June 28th. It was produced by two-time Grammy award winning producer Carl Jackson. If you only buy only one CD this month, spend that hard-earned jack on the gang from Russia. It can be ordered online ahead of time at Amazon.com.

Ma Barker's favorite felon also hinted that Jon Bon Jovi might appear on her new syndicated daytime show, Martha, when she hosts a lemon day that will feature the lemon trees Stewart adopted from the singer. Promax is an international association of promotion and marketing professionals in the electronic media. BDA is the sister organization of Promax and represents broadcast graphic designers.

What is it about celebrities that causes prosecutors in Los Angeles to grow such long fangs? Deputy District Attorney Sean Carney told a judge yesterday that Sizemore should be punished severely for violating the terms of his probation. According to Carney, the actor falsified a urine test and missed drug rehabilitation counseling sessions. Sizemore countered the charges by telling reporters that he has been free from drugs and sober. It will be up to the judge to determine the truth of the matter when the case continues Friday.
